Flambeau's Zerust corrosion inhibitor, molded directly into plastic, releases an invisible, odorless, non-toxic, non-flammable and non-reactive proprietary corrosion-inhibiting vapor that protects metal components from corrosion for up to five years.

Inside a relatively well-seated package made from Zerust materials, or within an enclose containing them, this vapor will settle on all exposed metal surfaces, forming a very thin protective layer (only a few molecules thick). This molecular layer inhibits the electrochemical reactions at the surface of the metal that cause corrosion.

Flambeau Zerust products do not affect the electrical, mechanical properties, or functionality of the metal components they protect. In fact, they actually help improve reliability by preventing corrosion damage too small to be seen by the naked eye.

Tarnish Inhibitor

Tarnish Inhibitor provides safe, long-term protective storage for sterling silver items. The patented Tarnish Inhibitor additive forms a harmless, protective layer around silver surfaces, preventing tarnishing for up to five years.

Flambeau stocks select Super Satchels and Tuff Tainers with Tarnish Inhibitor or Zerust molded into the product.
